Recently, we had a great opportunity to collaborate with a client who wanted to improve the functionality and, eventually, the property’s value with a bathroom renovation. We are writing this case study to highlight their journey. How they got to know about us, their initial consultations to the final project. We are going to write everything about this transformation.
The Client’s Vision
This young couple lives in a stylish apartment in Dubai. Both of them work from 9 to 5, so it is pretty obvious that their bodies demand relaxation in their home. With a family of 8 members and frequent guest visits, they recognized that their outdated bathroom no longer met their needs.
At first, they simply started to plan their bath space on their own. The only factors they wanted the most were its functionality and the reorganization of their daily routines. But there wasn’t much time left for the relaxation side of their busy lives.
How They Found Us?
The couple was impressed with their neighbor’s bathroom, and upon asking, they got our name, Posh Interior. When they got home, the first thing they did was contact us. They got connected to an Online Meeting with one of our bathroom designers, which lasted an hour.
What They Wanted?
They desired a contemporary bathroom design with clean lines and proper structure, using modern-day materials to look nice. But that’s not all. They asked to increase the area’s utility and rearrange the storage spaces.
Further, they wanted a completely new design that must be functional. They were also concerned about a few sustainable features, like water-saving faucets or energy-saving lighting.
Our Approach To Bathroom Transformation
Being aware of the client’s expectations, we wanted to design a bathroom that would match exactly with what they have in their mind. The aim was to get a bathroom design that would reflect both beauty and utility at the same time.
1. The Design Process
Before engaging in the actual design, we discussed the necessary details about the project with the clients. One thing to notice is that this time, we were meeting in person because the client was having some trouble conveying their thoughts effectively over the camera. Hence, we got to their place.
We listened to their daily routine and the particular requirements for the bathroom remodeling project. It enabled us to construct a vision from scratch. With our client’s objectives in mind, we constructed a vision of a unique yet sustainable design.
2. Material Selections
Now, it was the time to select materials for their bathroom renovation. There are still many design aspects that can be considered, and there are a variety of materials to choose from. However, according to our recommendations, they selected grey-finished ceramic tiles for the flooring. As per the walls, we decided to keep them sleek with a beige color. Last but not least, the fixtures. They selected water-saving toilets, showers, and faucets in white color.
3. The Renovation Journey
It started with a demolition of their bathroom. Throughout this process, the staff at our company were able to remove old spotlights, tiles, and cabinets found in the bath space. The above process was done perfectly fine.
4. Preparation Phase
Some plumbing issues came up, which were quite difficult. For context, their water line was cracked and it made the flooring filled with moisture. 6. Project Timeline
The entire renovation process was completed within three consecutive weeks. However, there was a slight alteration concerning the repairing of the plumbing system, which took almost a week. We maintained open communication with our client. They both were informed throughout the process so the owner could stay updated on what was actually going on.
Finally, when it was all over, we made the bathroom look precisely as the client desired.
Before And After Reveal
As you can see, the before-and-after photos clearly illustrate the dramatic change. That outdated and congested bathroom has thus been converted into a fully functional space.
